Synchronized Metronomes

This is a great video of  32 metronomes that have been placed on a rolling board and purposely started at different times. The energy created by the oscillating needles, at first, creates chaos in the motion of the board. After some time though, the undulations lengthen and the metronomes begin to align with each other.  The subtle action of the rolling board allows the opposing actions of the needles to cancel each other out and brings them all into sync.

I wish the motion of the planet could do the same for me when I am feeling out of sync with my creativity.
