More that anything else in the recent past, collaboration has opened the most creative and professional doors for me. One of those collaborations has been with Sudhu Tewari. We have been working on an idea for the past couple of years that has roots in the minimalist movement, cymatics, diy culture and harmonics.
Our latest version of this will be on exhibit in the Soundwave Biennial next week. SonicPLACE is a show within a festival that highlights the ways that various artists interface with sound.
The opening show is Friday, July 13th at 6:oo pm. SonicPLACE then runs continuously for three months from July to September 28, 2012, Tuesday-Saturday, 12:00p to 6:00p in the Chronicle bldg, 901 Mission St., SF, CA, 94103. Admission and viewing is free and open to the public.
Come say hello and check the piece out next week.
