Paranoid

Paranoid is a kinetic sculpture that I made while considering some questions regarding the rate at which humanity has progressed over time. It is a meditation on the history of our technology, the evolution of how we interface with it and what path it might lead us down in the future.

Paranoid from Benjamin Carpenter on Vimeo.

I was interviewed this past summer at the Bay Area Maker Faire about this piece, which I exhibited with Applied Kinetic Arts.
